Chiropractic

My name is Dr. Izzy and I am a pediatric and perinatal focused chiropractor. I was born and raised in Michigan a little north of here in Holland. I grew up going to see our family chiro frequently, having been adjusted for the first time on the way home from the hospital and then regularly throughout my life. My mom, having worked for a chiropractor at the time, knew that getting adjusted can and should happen right after birth. Let’s face it, the birthing process is tough! We go from a state of ease in the womb where all our needs are met and we’re happy as water creatures, but suddenly we become land mammals and have to learn how to be in a completely different environment. Having chiro care throughout my childhood made a huge difference for how I view health and wellness. I knew from a young age that being a chiropractor was my path in life.

After graduating from Grand Valley State University with my Bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences, I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During that time I found my calling working with infants, kids, and parents. The perinatal stage is so important and I am lucky enough to have worked with so many wonderful families as they navigated this new stage in their life.

I have additional training in craniosacral therapies (CST), I am Webster certified (see family care tab for more info), and am currently continuing my education in cranial work through the Peak Potential Institute. Although my training has focused on working with infants and people during the perinatal period, I love working with people of all ages and am here for every member of your family.

I am so excited to be in the South Haven area and look forward to becoming more involved in the community here.
